U.S. Hotel & Resort Management Privacy Statement 

U.S. Hotel & Resort Management LLC (U.S. Hotel & Resort Management), respects your privacy and values our relationship with each of our users. U.S. Hotel & Resort Management is committed to protecting your privacy through our compliance with this policy. U.S. Hotel & Resort Management will never sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information, and we take measures to safeguard your Personal Information. U.S. Hotel & Resort Management will only transfer your Personal Information at your request, and with your consent, for use by third parties to verify your identity, authorize certain transactions at your request, and as required for the prevention of fraud. We are an ethical steward of your Personal Information and are committed to supporting the following principles: 

  • You are solely in control of your own Personal Information. 
  • By using this mobile application, you represent that you are 21 years old or older.
  • You must provide consent before we will share any of your Personal Information. 
  • All Personal Information collected is stored securely on your own designated mobile device(s). 

U.S. Hotel & Resort Management Privacy Policy 

This Privacy Policy describes: 

  • The types of information we may collect or that you may provide when you download, install, register with, access, or use the U.S. Hotel & Resort Management mobile app (the “App”). 
  • Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. 

This policy applies only to information we collect in this App, and in email, text, and other electronic communications sent through or in connection with this App. 

This policy DOES NOT apply to information that you provide to or is collected by any third party. 

These other third parties may have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information on or through them. 

When you use the U.S. Hotel & Resort Management mobile app or other U.S. Hotel & Resort Management products and services, (collectively, the "Services"), we may collect information from or about you. By using any of the Services, you acknowledge the data collection practices and purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. 

1. What Information We Collect About You 

Information You Provide. 

U.S. Hotel & Resort Management only collects Personal Information to the extent that you provide it to us in relation to features in our app, such as enrolling into and using our identity verification service. This information includes: 

Verification information. When you verify yourself with U.S. Hotel & Resort Management you provide us with Personal Information that may include your name, date of birth, social security number and/or other government issued identification numbers, copies of your government issued identification card (e.g., license or passport), email address, phone number, mailing address, and certain photographic images, and Biometric Information. 

Biometric Information. Biometric Information is a form of Personal Information related to biometric characteristics that may be used to identify you. Common examples include fingerprints, voiceprints, scans of a hand, facial geometry recognition, and iris or retina recognition. As used in this policy, Biometric Information includes any "biometric identifiers” or "biometric information" as defined under applicable law. 

When you sign up within the U.S. Hotel & Resort Management app to verity your identity, we may collect the following Biometric Information: 

Facial Biometrics: Our Service may require you to upload an image of your government issued or other identification document(s) as well as your photographic image or "selfie" photograph using your mobile or other device. We use these images to create a facial geometry or faceprint that we use for purposes of identity verification and to prevent the creation of multiple accounts in a fraudulent manner. 

Other information. We also collect information that relates to or is capable of being associated with you, such as age, gender, and any other information you choose to provide. 

Information Collected Automatically 

When using our Services, we may automatically collect or receive certain information associated with you or your network device(s), such as your computer or mobile devices. This includes information about your use of our Services and your preferences. Such information may be automatically collected through device-based tracking technologies such as cookies, pixels, tags, beacons, scripts, or other technologies. 

The information we automatically collect may also include geolocation information, such as information that identifies the approximate location of your device and your IP address, which may be used to estimate your approximate location. 

Information from our partners. 

We acquire information from other trusted sources. These business partners might include companies, such as your mobile phone carriers, certain government agencies, licensing bodies, etc. We may also collect information about you from other sources, including service providers, data licensors and aggregators, marketing companies, programming distributors, and public databases. 

Information We Derive 

We may derive additional information or draw inferences about you based on the information we have collected from you directly, passively, or through third parties. 

In addition, U.S. Hotel & Resort Management collects information in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with a specific natural person, such as but not limited to, language choices, your current location (city), or your IP address (to the extent that it cannot be traced back to a specific street address) and user activity on the U.S. Hotel & Resort Management mobile app or website (“Non-Personal Information”). If U.S. Hotel & Resort Management combines Non-Personal Information with Personal Information (“Data”), the combined data will be treated as Personal Information for as long as it remains combined. 

Personal Information is not collected for any purpose other than for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy and will not be shared with any third party except as set out in this Policy and unless required by the applicable law. Personal Information will not be collected for profiling or other automated decision-making. 

The means in which your Data is collected on or through our mobile app or website or linked third party websites shall be described in the following sections. 

2. How We May Use Your Information and Why 

U.S. Hotel & Resort Management will not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information. U.S. Hotel & Resort Management will only transfer your Personal Information at your request, and with your consent, to verify your identity, authorize certain transactions at your request, and as required for the prevention of fraud. 

To provide you with our Services

We may use the information collected from or about you to authenticate and manage your identity when you create a U.S. Hotel & Resort Management account, including to verify attributes of your identity. We may use your Biometric Information to verify your identity, as well as to detect and help prevent fraud. We will never sell, rent, or trade your Biometric Information. 

Please note that once consent has been provided for the collection and processing of your information as part of your verification it may not be revoked where it is required to complete the transaction for which it was collected, or to complete the verification Services. 

To improve our Services

We use your information to monitor and improve the operation, delivery, and general accessibility of our Services. This may also include conducting internal research and development of our Services. 

To maintain the safety and security of our Services

We may use your information to protect the rights and property of U.S. Hotel & Resort Management and others, and to comply with our legal obligations including to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and other illegal activities and to enforce our agreements. 

As otherwise permitted by law. We may use your information to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and as otherwise permitted or required by law. 

3. Who We Share Your Information With and Why 

U.S. Hotel & Resort Management will not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information. U.S. Hotel & Resort Management will only transfer your Personal Information at your request, and with your consent, to verify your identity, authorize certain transactions at your request, and as required for the prevention of fraud. 

We may share your Personal Information with entities necessary to validate your identity and provide our Services to you. Our provision of your Personal Information to these parties is solely to verify and authenticate your identity. Your Personal Information is deleted after use. We have established relationships with these entities whereby the Personal Information you provide to us will be transmitted to them using industry standard encryption tools, designed to protect such information from unauthorized access. 

4. Your Choices, Rights, and Controls 

You may close your U.S. Hotel & Resort Management account at any time. By choosing to delete the application from your device the account will be deactivated and will delete your identity token and other securely stored data in your designated mobile device(s). 

5. Updating and Correcting Your Information 

Accessing and updating your Personal Information. We believe that you should have the ability to access and edit the Personal Information on your device. You may only change your securely stored personal information on your designated mobile device(s) by either a secure login to your mobile application or use of your facial biometric using your mobile device. 

6. Protecting Your Information 

We use reasonable security measures. We are committed to protecting your information. We have adopted technical, administrative, and physical security procedures to help protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and alteration. Please note that no data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. 

7. Data Retention 

U.S. Hotel & Resort Management will not retain any Personal Information. All Personal Information is retained in your designated mobile device that you control. You may delete this Personal Information at any time through your mobile device. 

U.S. Hotel & Resort Management will retain certain Non-Personal Information to fulfill our legal, contractual and policy obligations. 

8. Minor Privacy 

We do not knowingly collect information from minors. No one under the age of 21 may use the mobile application. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 21, and no part of the mobile application is designed to attract anyone under the age of 21. Because we do not intentionally collect any information from anyone under the age of 21, we also do not knowingly distribute such information to third parties. If you have reason to believe that a minor under 21 years of age has provided us with information, please contact us at Privacy@GreatOhioLodges.com and we will immediately delete such information, subject to and in compliance with applicable law. 

9. Additional Information if Located in Europe 

If you are accessing or using our App from Europe, Australia, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States' laws, you are transferring your Personal Information to the United States which does not have the same data protection laws as such other regions. By providing your information through the App, you are consenting to the transfer of your information to the United States for processing and maintenance in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our EULA. You are also consenting to the application of Michigan law and controlling U.S. Federal law in all matters concerning the App and U.S. Hotel & Resort Management Service. 

10. Changes to Our Privacy Policy 

This Privacy Policy may be periodically updated. This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect new U.S. Hotel & Resort Management features or changes in our Personal Information practices. We will post a notice for consumers at the top of this Privacy Policy of any significant changes. We will indicate at the top of the Privacy Policy when the policy was most recently updated.
